Jasper to Brashears has a grand canyon and roads that twist nicely through the Ozarks
There aren’t many roads in the Ozarks that will disappoint a motorcycle rider. The ride from Jasper to Brashears is filled with stunning scenery. And, oh yeah, it’s the Ozarks so the riding is awesome too.
Take Highway 7 south out of Jasper 15 miles to Highway 16 west. Travel another 51 miles west to Brashears. I stopped tracking the ride in Brashears because it puts you at the northern end of the 24-mile Pig Trail. Easy to keep having riding bliss.
The Ride from Jasper to Brashears is a good blend of riding through curves and twists and some incredible scenery. The Arkansas Grand Canyon is just a few miles south of Jasper and it is impressive. The rest of the ride on 7 and 16 is allows you to shift through the gears and keep a good pace. The curves aren’t particularly challenging, but are fun to navigate. The road rises and falls nicely throughout the ride. There isn’t much to do along the way in terms of stopping. There aren’t any services along the way until you get closer to Fayetteville.
The Bottom Line
You can’t go wrong with whatever your choice of riding is in the Ozarks. If “I just wanna ride” is your attitude for the day. Make your way through Jasper and add this ride to your day.
