The Pig Trail is a destination ride

I stopped at a scenic overlook on the The Pig Trail and a guy from Texas put his thumb up toward me several times as he got out of his RV. He was smiling widely and couldn’t contain his excitement about The Pig Trail. He was from Texas and said that he’d ridden the Twisted Sisters, but he’d never been on a road like The Pig Trail. He’s right. It’s a great ride.

The Road

The Pig Trail is officially a 24-mile stretch between Ozark north of I-40 and Brashears on Highway 16.

The Bottom Line

The Pig Trail is on a multitude lists of the best rides. It is definitely one of the best motorcycle rides in the country. The lists are subjective, so I don’t think I’d rate it as the best ride in the country. But it’s definitely good. So come for the Pig Trail and stay for the rest of the great riding in the Ozarks.
